BEEP supports beekeepers to take care of their bee colonies. The BEEP base is an automatic bee measurement system that you can place under the hive. It measures the weight, temperature and sound of the bee colony. The information is automatically transferred to your BEEP app, so you are always up-to-date and can intervene when needed.
The BEEP app is a digital checklist app in which you can register your inspections. It is a digital alternative to the paperwork that is part of beekeeping. With the app, you will always have the information about your colonies at hand. You can add and edit information at the time and place that suits you best. Furthermore, the usage of the app is free of charge.
BEEP is financed by public goods and shares newly developed code and design through an open source license.
